Solasto Corporation, provider of medical administration outsourcing and long-term care services in Japan, is to acquire Ehime-based nursing-care service firm Best Care for ¥3.3 billion (US$29.4 million).
Founded in 1999, Best Care is the largest care provider in Ehime with 35 offices.
Completion is expected at the end of October.
Founded in 1965 as Japan’s first educational institution for medical administration, Solasto (formerly known as NIC Corporation) was relisted at the end of June last year, which allowed 40% shareholder private equity firm Carlyle to exit.
