Shares in Top Glove fell almost 6% at the open today. This follows allegations by the Thomson Reuters Foundation at the weekend that migrant workers for the world’s largest rubber glove manufacturer work under exploitative conditions. “We assure you that the allegations are entirely unfounded and such allegations tarnish our good name,” the company said in a statement. Its shares gained in afternoon trading and were last seen down 3.9%.
